Years ago, I set out to hike the Appalachian Trail expecting an adventure.

Instead, I found four simple words that quietly changed the way I look at life:

Hike Your Own Hike.

Since then, those words have shaped how I write, how I parent, how I work, and how I try to move through the world.

HYOH exists because I believe they can become a meaningful reminder for others, too.
